Mock Drill was held at Chlorination Plant area of NTPC Talcher, Kaniha on 27.02.2019 in association with District Crisis Group,Angul . Prior to mock drill, a presentation on On-Site Emergency Plan was given by S.S. Behera (AGM, Safety Coordinator) at Vivekananda Conference Hall building.
The Mock Drill was witnessed by representatives of local industries like M/s Smelter Plant of Nalco Ltd, M/s CPP Nalco Ltd, M/s Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, M/s Bhushan Energy Ltd, M/s TTPS (NTPC Ltd) Talcher Thermal, M/s Global Coal & Mining Ltd, M/s Aryan Energy (P) Ltd, M/s Spectrum Coal & Power Ltd, M/s Ganesh Sponge (P) Ltd.
After the Mock Drill , Santosh James.Chief General Manager ,NTPC Kaniha briefed the team members for the successful completion of same.
The convener of the District Crisis Group , Umakant Samantaray, Asst Director of Factories & Boiler, Angul Zone-II evaluated the performance and gave his valuable feedback to the management team.
