National Integration Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) was celebrated on 31 October 2020 at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters,Ranchi to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. On this occasion, Head of Mining, Shri S Mishra administered Rashtriya Ekta pledge through virtual mode in which all employees of the headquarters joined through Microsoft Team in view of COVID-19 guidelines.
Employees paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, one of India’s greatest freedom fighters.On the occasion, Head of Mining, Shri Mishra said “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel extraordinary dedication to nation-building will continue to inspire generations to come”.
The objective of National Unity Day is “it will provide an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity, and security of our country”.
