Nagpur: (NewsTimePro):A seven-year-old girl has been arrested on charges of molesting a schoolgirl in a school in Nagpur district of Maharashtra. That’s what the police said.
According to police, the crime took place in Kondaswali village of Katol tehsil on Saturday evening.
Katol police said a villager rescued the victim’s daughter from the clutches of the accused. Ankush Bhoskar, 25, a local youth, has been arrested in the case.
In addition to sections 37AB and 506 of the IPC, a case has been registered against the accused under various sections of the Child Sexual Abuse Act (POCO). After the arrest of the accused, he was produced in a local court where he was remanded in police custody for three days.
