NTPC Kaniha CISF personnel manhandled

 While NTPC Kaniha CISF personnel deployed for MGR Track Patrolling Party during intervening night of 19th-20th March,19 at about 2315 hrs, about 40-50 unknown miscreants (Coal thieves) attacked on the patrolling party at desolated place near Scotlandpur Railway Station of MGR NTPC Kaniha located 26 kms away from NTPC Kaniha Plant.

The miscreants were equipped with iron rods, lathi, dab and other handmade weapons. In the said incident Head Constable Ram Ashish Singh got injury in his right leg (thigh) was admitted in NTPC Kaniha Hospital and civilian driver got injury in his both hand and rear glass of the vehicle was broken. 

In this regard an FIR has been lodged in Talcher Police Station for necessary action. Matter has been taken up appropriate level by CISF to take strong action against coal theft so that pilferage of coal can be prevented .
