A mock drill exercise was conducted by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Cuttack in association with Fire Wing,CISF ,NTPC Kaniha at Stage I ,Chlorination Plant of the power station.
On the occasion ,Shri N Acharya,GM(O&M) and senior executives , employees & CISF personnel witnessed the mock exercise . Addressing the gathering Shri Acharya said “we should be careful towards safety functions of the power station and ready to deal with any emergency 24 x 7 .He also thanked the NDRF team for conducting the drill and sharing vital information on dealing with emergency situation.
During the mock drill, all the fire tenders and ambulance reached the drill site in time and the emergency was handled in proper time.
