Tata Steel Foundation’s RISTHA Team Organizes “Manthan Yatra

Dhenkanal(NTP): Tata Steel Foundation, through its RISTHA (Regional Initiative for Safe Sexual Health by Today’s Adolescent) Team, conducted a thought-provoking event titled “Manthan Yatra” at various places of Odapada block. The initiative aimed at fostering awareness and initiating discussions on critical issues such as sexual health, green skills, social media, and child marriage within the community. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 90 youth from Odapada Block, reflecting the community’s interest and proactive involvement in addressing these significant societal challenges. Utilizing creative elements such as skit plays, focus group discussions, and thematic dances, the program provided an engaging and interactive platform for open conversations. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Anuradha Goswami, District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) Dhenkanal, who highlighted the importance of initiatives like “Manthan Yatra” in addressing critical issues affecting today’s youth. Anuradha Goswami (DCPO, Dhenkanal) and Gayatri Nayak (Public Health Manager, TSF) shared motivational insights with the youth, emphasizing the significance of informed discussions on pertinent social issues. Field health co-ordinators Binita Toppo, Subash Behera, Kabita Dhal (BO) from TSF coordinated the programme.
