Two people were injured in a sword attack by some miscreants while the procession was going on in Kushasingha village of Anugul Sadar police station. One of the injured was identified as Sagar Das of Kushasingha village and the other a road passerboy. According to sources, Chendipada MLA Sushant Behera was also present during the procession in the village . When the legislator returned from there, he was accompanied by some people. As the village was approaching, 4-5 miscreants suddenly attacked with swords. The attack left Sagar Das with a neck injury, while another young man passing by was slightly injured in the hand. Before anyone could understand it, the miscreants fled the scene, playing a kind of terror. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police recruiting center at Kardagadia. However, the exact cause of the attack is unknown. Police are investigating.
