JSPL Observes 5th International Yoga Day

The employees and their family members of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) celebrated the Fifth International Day of Yoga at Jindal Nagar today, under the guidance of Yoga Guru Swami Satyabindu Saraswati. More than 200 people from Jindal Nagar and adjoining areas participated in this event.
Participating in this programme, Executive Director Maintenance of JSPL’s Angul unit Mr. Suresh Kumar advised everyone to make yoga as a part of their routine life to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Addressing the gathering, Brigadier K. K. Chopra, Advisor- Security & Head-Admin, shared his experience of Yoga for a healthy life and distributed trophies to the regular practitioners.
Swami Satyabindu Saraswati, appreciated the efforts of JSPL’s Chairman Mr. Naveen Jindal for integrating  Yoga in his industrial work culture and advised every employee to attend Yoga class for a stress free and healthy life. He conducts yoga classes every day at a special Yoga Hall in Jindal Nagar.
Yoga Guru Swami Satyabindu Saraswati, supported by the JSPL Foundation is also propagating Yoga through training camps at various schools in the locality.
Students and staff members of O.P. Jindal School also observed the day with a special Yoga sessions held under the guidance of school teachers Mrs. Swati Pandey & Mr. D.S. Shailly. Similarly, students and staff members of DAV Savitri Jindal High School at Badamahitala R&R colony of JSPL observed the day under the direct supervision of Mr. Siba Prasad Pani and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Pradhan of Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Angul.
